What is pH?

pH is a unit of measurement that indicates whether a liquid is acidic, neutral, or basic (alkaline). The pH value ranges from 0 to 14. A pH of 7 is neutral. Values below 7 are defined as acidic, while values above 7 are considered basic (alkaline).

The human body maintains its pH balance very precisely. Blood pH: 7.35 – 7.45 (slightly alkaline), stomach pH: 1.5 – 3.5 (acidic), saliva pH: 6.2 – 7.6. Maintaining blood pH within the range of 7.35 – 7.45 is vital. The body naturally regulates this balance through the kidneys and lungs. Therefore, consuming water with a balanced and regulation-compliant pH level is considered safe.

According to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, the pH value of natural spring waters must fall within specific legal limits. In general, a pH range of 4.5 – 9.5 is considered appropriate. This range is important both for human health and for preserving the natural mineral balance of water.

Nazlı Natural Spring Water is sourced from natural springs located in the Beydağ region, at an altitude of 1,400 meters, far from industrial and residential areas.

Packaged water should be stored in cool, dry environments, away from direct sunlight and isolated from chemical substances.

The shelf life of packaged water varies depending on the type of packaging but is generally between 12–24 months. It is recommended to consume it shortly after opening.

Carboy packaging (returnable containers) can be used for up to five years from the production date or for a maximum of 75 uses
